Hata is named after the Japanese grouper, a bottom-dwelling predator with a dark, iridescent coloration that perfectly camouflages it among rocks, shadows, and depths.
The color scheme is built on a smoke-bronze back with copper and iridescent purple reflections, which change in intensity depending on the light and swimming angle. The semi-transparent belly keeps the pattern readable and natural, while the violet flash on the belly adds contrast and depth without turning it into a pure artificial color.
