Inspired by the autumn livery of the Japanese cherry salmon, Oncorhynchus masou, SAKURAMASU explores the contrast between the dark tones of the back and the intense reds that characterize the fish during the spawning season.
A deep, almost black brown back meets a ruby-red belly enriched with ultra-fine metallic particles. The light reveals copper highlights and bronze hues, transforming a seemingly dark combination into a surface rich in color and movement.
The result is a livery with a bold character, alternating depth and brightness depending on the viewing angle.
