Wakasagi takes its name from the small Japanese baitfish Hypomesus nipponensis, a clear and translucent species that also recalls the Mediterranean sand smelt (Atherina boyeri).
The color is built on a natural grey-green back, created through a complex blend of pigments, paired with a neutral silver belly with subtle pink reflections. In the 5.5” format, the larger profile increases the bait’s presence in the water while keeping a natural, bright and realistic look.
