KITARA SR – AYU

Ayu is named after the ayu (Plecoglossus altivelis), a small baitfish from Japanese rivers with clean, bright colors.

The color scheme is built on an olive-grey back with micro golden reflections and a semi-transparent silver flank, designed to recreate the natural refraction of forage fish in current. The milky belly with blue reflections is the visual signature of the color: a cold glow that emerges during movement, increasing contrast and depth without breaking the naturalness of the pattern.
