Wakasagi is named after the small Japanese baitfish Hypomesus nipponensis, a clear and translucent species that also resembles our latterino.
The livery features a natural grey-green back, obtained from a complex mixture of pigments, and a neutral-silver belly with subtle pink reflections. In the water, it remains discreet, bright, and credible: designed to imitate small baitfish without appearing artificial.
